It’s claimed serious safety concerns at the entrance to Clare’s largest estate need to be urgently addressed.
Westbury, near Parteen in South East Clare, has almost 1,000 homes but just one two-lane entrance for those living there.
Fianna Fáil Councillor Cathal Crowe lives in the estate and says at peak commuter times, people have just seconds to enter the stream of traffic which is an extremely dangerous situation to be in.
