Concern That Clare’s Homeless Hub Could Be Months Off

Concern is being expressed that a new homeless family hub planned for Clare could be up to a year late.

The hub, which would act as a bridge between emergency accommodation such as hotels and social housing for those most in need, was due to be in place in the first half of the year.

Clare County Council says it’s in the process of completing the acquisition of a property in Ennis and the turnaround will by dictated by the extent of refurbishment works required.
