A West Clareman is preparing to spend 19 days cycling the length and breadth of the country to raise funds for Cancer Care.

Doonbeg man Paddy Kelly is undertaking the 2,400km challenge in honour of the late Paddy Culligan, who died last August after a cancer battle.

He will begin the cycle on April 4th but ahead of that, his fundraiser is being launched this evening at the Temple Gate Hotel in Ennis.
