Clare Victims Of Child Sexual Abuse Waiting 18 Months For Counselling

It’s claimed that child victims of sexual abuse in Clare are waiting up to 18 months to receive counselling services.

Clare children are forced to travel to Limerick for counselling services, and the facility there has the longest waiting list in the country.

There are sixty young people waiting for counselling there.

Chief Executive of the Children’s Rights Alliance, Tanya Ward insists that the government has prioritised the wrong areas.
