Clare Green Senator Says People Shouldn’t Be Scared By Climate Action Bill

Clare’s Green Party Senator says people should not be scared of the changes the new Climate Action Bill will bring to their lives.

The government has pledged to cut the country’s emissions by 51 per cent over the next 10 years.

Carbon neutrality by 2050 is also being targeted by the legislation, while governments will now be legally required to hold 5 year climate budgets out to 2035.
