One of the main roads into Ennis will be closed tonight to facilitate planned emergency road works.
Essential surface retexturing will be taking place at a number of locations on the M18 Junction 12 southbound on-slip tonight between 9pm and 6am to minimise disruption to traffic.
During this time traffic will be diverted to Junction 11, where traffic can turn and join the M18 southbound.

In addition, the roundabout associated with junction 8 – Ballycasey is to be retextured , but it will remain open, with a controlled a four-way stop/go active traffic management system in place.
