Extension of Ennis Covid 19 Mobility Plan Comes Into Force Today

Clare Council Council has moved to reassure traders in Ennis amid concerns about the new timelime for the town’s Covid 19 mobility plan.

Phase One of the plan, which pedestrianised much of the town centre, came into force in mid-May, in line with Government guidelines for social distancing.

Today sees an extension of emergency road closures in Ennis until May 2021, to allow for the installation of retractable bollards.
