Claims 6,000 Farm Families At Risk In Clare In No-Deal Brexit

It’s claimed the livelihoods of 6,000 farming families in Clare is at risk unless the Britian and the EU up the ante in ensuring no hard border post Brexit.

The UK has already admitted that if a no-deal scenario unfolds, it will mean they will have to impose tariffs on agru-food imports, which would not spell good news for Ireland’s beef sector.

It’s now less than four weeks to the departure date, though the Brexit date could be pushed back if Theresa May’s latest deal fails to make it through the House of Commons.
