Claim High Visitor Numbers To Loop Head Keeping Locals In Jobs

It’s claimed the surge in visitor numbers to the Loop Head Light House is keeping people on the West Clare peninsula in work.

Between March and September of this year, 24,450 people visited the 19th century lighthouse – up by almost 450 on last year.

It’s the sixth year in a row the attraction has experienced growth since it opened to the public in 2011.
