Free car parking will be available in all public car parks in Ennis from tomorrow, in a bid to bolster local trade in the county town.
Clare County Council has announced that the initiative will be in place in all public car parks in the town from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. daily up to and including Saturday January 9th.
Parking at the Cloister/GAA car park will be free throughout the day.

Meanwhile, the streets of the town centre will be pedestrianised on Sunday afternoons starting this weekend, and running through to January 3rd, in a measure which comes on top of the pedestrianisation brought about by the town’s COVID-19 mobility plan.
