A Clare Fine Gael TD says it’s important the Taoiseach clarifies his leadership intentions today.
Enda Kenny is due to address the issue of his leadership at the Fine Gael Parliamentary Party this evening, but its unclear whether he’ll spark an immediate leadership election or delay his departure until later this summer.
Leo Varadkar and Simon Coveney are the frontrunners to take over as Fine Gael leader.
