Clare County Council is to launch a consultation process with Irish Water on the possibility of installing public drinking fountains around the county.

Ennis Fine Gael Councillor Mary Howard wants to see these pumps installed in Clare’s parks, at beaches and on piers to give ready access to drinking water to the public.
