Calls are being made for a change in approach to maintaining Clare’s beaches, piers and lakes to attract more visitors here.
A group of councillors from around the county want to see the likes of litter policy and health and safety facilities reviewed, while also calling for collaboration with community groups.
Clare County Council has committed to examining the needs of the county in this regard and developing a proposal to address these concerns.
