The motor industry is reporting another month of “declining car sales.”
In Clare, the trade’s representative group says 84 new cars were registered last month, a 36% decline on the same month last year.
Overall, in the first eight months of this year, car sales locally are back 18% although sales of electric and hybrid models have increased now, accounting for 10.5% of the market.
