Business Service Using Shannon Cancelled

British Airways has cancelled one of two all-business class services which had been using Shannon Airport.

The airline has been operating two return services from London City Airport to New York's JFK, which included a refuelling stop at Shannon.

One of those, BA1, allowed passengers use Shannon's US preclearance facility and this will continue.

However, the second service, BA3, which did not have an opportunity to use Shannon's preclearance has now been discontinued.

The flights use Airbus A318 aircraft, which are configured to carry 32 passengers.
