Brexit Uncertainty Putting Major Pressure On Clare Farmers

It’s claimed Brexit uncertainty is putting intense pressure on farmers in Clare and across the country, even though it’s out of their hands.

The Clare branch of the IFA held its AGM in Ennis last night, where a number of concerned farmers aired their worries for the sector.

The beef sector in particular is said to be vulnerable and with suckler the most common form of farming in Clare, that’s causing serious concern here.
