Bank of Ireland has admitted responsibility and apologised for a delay in salary payments for thousands of public sector workers this morning.
For the second time in four weeks, thousands of public sector workers didn't received their wages – because of a delay at the bank.

However all payments have now been received and all accounts should be credited by the end of the day.
The Bank has apologised to anyone who experienced a delay today.
