A Kilkee-based tourism consultant says it’s unfair to say that all Air Bnb lets are damaging the rental market.
Cillian Murphy is commenting in light of concerns raised by officials from the Department of Housing, who claim the online short-term letting service is driving up rents across the country.
There are currently over 300 full properties available to rent on Air Bnb in Clare – with the biggest chunk in coastal towns.
