It’s hoped that shining a light on the positive work carried out by some farmers to protect the environment will lead to an overall shift in mindset.
Farming for Nature is an organisation which aims to protect nature by supporting those who farm in a way that improves the natural health of the countryside.
Ten ambassadors have already been announced and now, voting is open online to chose one of them as the winner of a Farming for Nature Award at the Burren Winterage Weekend next month.
