Several schools across the county have been granted additional accommodation by the Department of Education.
Scoil na Mainistreach in Quin and St Anne’s Community College in Killaloe have each been given the option to either buy prefabs to build permanent structures to house two classrooms.
Meanwhile Scoil Mhuire in Lahinch has been granted one classroom, with a resource room given to Ogonnelloe National School.

Ennis CBS has also been given funds to rent a structure while roof and boiler replacement works have been sanctioned for the Convent Primary School in Killaloe, Holy Family Junior National School in Ennis and Lissycasey National School.
