69 New COVID-19 Cases Nationally, 14 Spread Across 8 Counties Including Clare

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that 5 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 in Ireland have died.

It brings to 1,768, the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland.

The HPSC has been notified of 69 confirmed cases of the virus bringing the total number nationally to 26,372.

Of the 69 cases, 14 are spread across 8 counties including Clare, Cork, Donegal, Galway, Limerick, Louth, Meath and Wexford, while 22 are located in Offaly, 19 in Kildare, 8 in Laois and 6 in Dublin.

65% are under 45 years of age.
