59 People Waiting For A Bed At UHL

There are 59 patients waiting for beds at the region’s main hospital today.

According to the INMO, there are 40 people on trolleys in University Hospital Limerick’s emergency department, with a further 19 in wards.

There are more patients on trolleys in the emergency department alone than any other hospital in the country.

It comes on a day 214 patients are waiting for a bed at hospitals nationwide.
