A further 600 people in Clare have closed their Pandemic Unemployment Payment in the past week.
Figures from the Department of Social Protection show 13,200 people here are now receiving the 350 euro payment.
It means that, over the past fortnight, 1,500 who had been receiving the payment have closed their claims.

Meanwhile, the number of people who are medically certified for receipt of the Covid-19 related Illness Benefit payment remains at 900.
The 350 euro rate is paid out for anyone who has been medically certified to self-isolate or has been diagnosed with Covid-19.
