The Inagh-based CEO of Muintir na Tíre says their 1,600 community groups across the country stand ready to help vulnerable people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The organisation is part of the government’s community response plan, which has been set up to spring into action at a point when the existing services are overwhelmed with new cases.
At present, there are 2,415 confirmed cases in Ireland – 31 of which are in Clare, with this number rising significantly with each passing day.
