Over Christmas you may have seen a train passing through the centre of Ennis. The engine was on loan for the festive period and saw €3,800 raised for four separate charities, with €2 per ride charged for a lap of Ennis. Gavin was joined by local Fine Gael councillor, Mary Howard, calling for the county council to consider purchasing one of these trains to run all year round in the county town. Listen back below:
