Clare’s Sinn Fein TD claims people with disabilities in the county are suffering after Clare Bus lost a number of contracts for local bus routes.

The operator lost the contract back in March, when a new deal couldn’t be agreed with the National Transport Authority.

Concerns have been raised that Clare Bus’ fleet was more suitable for people in wheelchairs to access than the buses provided by new operator Local Link.
