The ESB is expecting to have power restored to all homes in Clare by this afternoon.
Around 7,000 homes lost power on Friday night as Storm Hannah battered the county and crews have been working since first light yesterday morning to restore supply with additional crews deployed to the county in the afternoon.
46 houses, farms and businesses were without power overnight, and efforts are ongoing today to finish the repair works today, while further outages are expected in parts of Kilkee and Kilbaha this afternoon, as essential maintanance works are carried out.
