Next, we were joined by Corofin-based counsellor Pauline Bradley who spoke about her work with the Clare Haven. For over 20 years, she has facilitated the Insights programme for groups of victims of domestic abuse, including acts of violence and coercive control.
The group project is designed to be supportive, and educational. There is also an Insights for Parents programme, which helps parents support their children, who have often witnessed abuse. It starts again at the end of April.
