Former Galway Dual star, Alan Kerins has welcomed the GAA’s ban on betting sponsorship but is still concerned about gambling addiction.
Alan has warned that more needs to be done to combat gambling addictions.
The GPA member said that given the influence on the GAA, it’s gratifying to see it taking a a lead on it, both nationally and internationally on the issue; however, he thinks more needed to be done by way or support and life coaching for those at risk.
