The fruits of a West Clare community’s labour will be on display from today with the opening of a new amenity.
An astro turf, multi-use games area, sensory garden and community facility will be unveiled at St Joseph’s National School in Miltown Malbay this afternoon.

An online donation page raised over €160,000 for the project while funding was also sourced through the Community Recognition Fund.
School principal Joe O’Reilly says much of the credit goes to parents as well as others living in the area.
