A new poll published today places Clare’s Michael McNamara in a strong position to win a seat in the Ireland South constituency with less than a week to go until the European Elections.
Today’s Sunday Independent Ireland Thinks poll has the Scarriff man in third position out of the 23 candidates going forward.

Out of 660 people polled, McNamara garnered 9.9% of the vote with Fine Gael’s Sean Kelly leading the way on 18.5%
Elsewhere, Eddie Punch and Michael Leahy received 2.8% and 1.3% of the vote respectively.
