Two separate investigations are underway following the death of an North Clareman on a farm near Gort.
The 73-year-old, named locally as Kieran Mullins from Tubber, was found dead on farm land in the Crannagh area on the outskiers of the town yesterday morning.
It’s understood he was driving a tractor when he died.

Gardaí have confirmed that they’re investigating an incident between 11am and 1pm yesterday, while the Health and Safety Authority has been notified and is carrying out a separate investigation into Mr. Mullins’ death.
Gardaí say a post mortem is due to be carried out on his remains today.
