Numbers Accessing SVP Services In Clare Rise during Pandemic

The number of people accessing St Vincent De Paul’s services in Clare has increased amid the covid-19 pandemic.

SVP is launching its annual appeal in earnest this year, as many people experience extra hardship and seek assistance to make ends meet.

The charity says people are looking for help in a myriad of ways this year, including lifts to medical appointments or other places as they don’t feel safe or can’t afford public transport.

Clare Area President of SVP, Niamh McDonnell says the increase in those looking for assistance in Clare is small, but noticeable.
