A section of the M18 near Ennis has been closed due to a car fire.
Emergency services are currently in attendance at the incident involving a single vehicle ,which occurred shortly after 4pm near the Barefield exit at junction 14 southbound.

The road is expected to remain closed over the coming hours, while local diversions are put in place.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
