A regional road in East Clare will be closed until the weekend to facilitate emergency road resurfacing works.
The R461 between Caher Cross and the R458 Lough Cutra Cross will be closed to traffic every day this week from 8am to 6am to allow maintenance to take place.

Motorists travelling southbound will be diverted towards Tulla followed by Feakle and Dromindoora while those heading northbound are being redirected towards Feakle after which point they’ll be steered to Ballinahinch Cross.
Local access will be maintained for the duration of the project.
