A Construction Industry Federation director for this region has urged Clare builders to remain vigilant as construction activity begins to ramp up.
The federation is running its ‘back to basics’ campaign, to ensure potential hazards are identified, necessary checks are carried out and no shortcuts are taken when on site.

According to the HSA, eight construction related fatalities have been recorded in Ireland so far in 2026, accounting for 40% of all workplace deaths.
