In hurling last night there was no joy for Zimmer of Shannon who lost the Munster inter firm junior hurling final to Limerick prison officers by by 2-19 to 2-14 in UL on Thursday night.
Clare hurlers James Mc inerney and Brian O Connell were invovled with the Shannon company while Franicis O Halloran and Gerard Griffin lined out for the prison officers and Corofin’s Ronnie Meere grabbing a goal in the opeing half for the Limerick side while Newmarket’s James Mc Inerney also scored a goal.
