Wins for Chelsea and Man utd as City leave it late

Chelsea won 4-2 away to Spurs to remain four points clear at the top of the Premier League.

The leaders were 2-1 down but Juan Mata grabbed two quick goals to help maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.

Manchester United also won 4-2 at home to Stoke – Wayne Rooney scored two after he gave Stoke the lead with an own goal.

Edin Dzeko was the hero for Champions Manchester City – he came off the bench to score twice in the last 10 minutes and help give them a 2-1 win away to West Brom.

Shane Long had put the home side ahead and City had James Milner sent off in the first half.

Elsewhere Liverpool beat Reading 1-0 at Anfield.

Fulham were also 1-0 winners at home to Aston Villa.

Swansea beat Wigan 2-1

and West Ham won 4-1 at home to Southampton.
