Winning Start For Clare Juniors In National Camogie League

The Clare Junior Camogie Team have got their National League Campaign off to a flying start.

John Carmody’s charges dominated proceedings from start to finish against neigbours Limerick in Fr. McNamarra Park this afternoon.

Clare led the Treaty by double scores at half time before pushing on in the second half to carve out a 0-17 to 1-03 opening round win.

The Banner will now be hoping to avenge last year’s Junior All-Ireland Semi-Final defeat to Antrim in a fortnight’s time when they make the trip to Dunswily in round two to face the Saffrons on St.Patrick’s Day.
