Tottenham Hotspur took all three points against Aston Villa in the only Barclay’s Premier League game of the day.
Spurs won 2-0, thanks to goals from Andros Townsend and Roberto Soldado.
That win moves the Londoners into fifth place, level on points with fourth placed Manchester City and just three points behind leaders Arsenal.
