It was a largely disappointing day for Clare schools in Munster hurling competitions yesterday.

St. Caimin’s of Shannon, St. Joseph’s of Tulla and St. Anne’s of Killaloe were all out in the last eight of the B competition, but all three lost their Quarter-Final ties.
There was better luck though for Scarriff Community College, whose five-point win over Carrignavar of Cork sees them into the Final of the Senior C event.
