An Ennis runner has won one of the most extreme races in the world.
Keith Whyte was victorious in the Antarctic 100km race, which has been held in testing conditions of -10 degrees in one of the world's most remote places.
He finished the course in 9 hours and 26 minutes, breaking the course record by almost 2 hours.
Keith is the Irish record holder for 100km, and his family say he'll return to Ennis in the coming days.
