Wigan chairman Dave Whelan says "about 30 people" have applied to be the club’s manager.

There’s not a vacant position yet, but Roberto Martinez is expected to move to Everton, after Whelan revealed compensation has been agreed between the two clubs.
Whelan says he’s yet to hold talks with any of the applicants.
