Wexford Score Late Goal To Secure Victory Over Clare In National Hurling League

Wexford came out victorious over Clare this afternoon in the second round of the National Hurling League.

Shane Meehan scored a goal for the Banner in the 30th minute of the first half and it was a tight game throughout.

But Wexford proved too strong with a first half goal from Rory O Connor and late second goal from Dee O’ Keefe.

The full time score at Cusack park was Wexford 2-20, Clare 1-20.
