West Clare Gaels have become the first Clare club to win the All ireland intermediate Ladies football final after a 3-9 to 0-08 win over St Conelth’s today.
The Clare side led from the second minute with Niamh Lardner goaling in the opening half to give the Clare side a 1-6 to 2 points lead at half time.
A penalty after half time from Katie Geoghan gave the Clare side a strong lead and Geoghan’s second goal 10 minutes before the end out the result beyond doubt.
