Welcome for move to postpone club games involving minors until after final

The Clare minor hurling side have been given a boost with the news that after this weekend none of their players will be in action with their clubs  until after the All Ireland final next month.

The move comes after a special county board meeting last evening which decided that all county club games involving minor players would be postponed until after the final while games not involving minor players will go ahead as normal next week.

County chairman Michael O Neill said the meeting came to the right decison:
