Waterford’s McGrath announces retirement from Inter County Hurling

 

After 3 all stars, 4 Munster championships and a national league title Waterford’s Ken McGrath has announced his retirement from inter county hurling.

The 33 year old revealed his decision to manager Davy Fitzgerald last night.

The former All Star started in Sundays league win over Cork but was taken off early in the second half, last year McGrath struggled with a knee injury but was expected to play for the rest of this season.
