An update on Colm Collins’ future as Clare senior footballer manager is expected in the coming weeks.
Chairman of Clare GAA Kieran Keating informed delegates at the July meeting of the board that he has spoken to the Kilmihil native about his plans, and hoped to have a final decision at the next gathering in August.
Meanwhile Dermot Coughlan was ratified for another term in charge of the minor footballers with Terence Fahy given a two year term at the helm of the U20 hurlers.
The chairman also said he had spoken with both minor hurling manager Brian O’Connell, and U20 football manager Michael Neylon, but had no final commitment yet from either party on their plan
