Unrest in Irish squad ahead of Faroes clash

Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni will oversee training this evening with stories of unrest in the squad spreading following Fridays 6-1 defeat to Germany.

Ahead of their departure to the Faroe Islands for tomorrow’s qualifier it’s reported that Stephen Kelly had a row with assistant manager Marco Tardelli and refused to travel before latter being persuaded to go by Trap.
