Clare’s minor hurlers will take on Down in the All Ireland Quarter-Final later this month.
Clare lost to Tipperary on Sunday in the Munster final and will face the Ulster side on the 28th in Tullamore at 2 o’clock. Galway will play Wexford in the other Quarter-Final in the second part of a double-header at the same venue.
Elsewhere, in the Michael O’Reilly Oil Under 16 A Championship last night, Feakle/Killanena beat Eire Og 2-14 to 2-08. In the B Championship Tulla defeated Newmarket-on-Fergus 3-08 to 0-12.
